Welcome to day 24 of decluttering to free your home and your mind.
This is my beautiful car on the beach in Western Australia. My friend Judy and I had just driven from the east coast of Australia to the west coast, and celebrated with a morning swim in the beach. I love my car and want her to look her best.
I once suffered from CHAOS .. Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome. You know the feeling, the house is just not visitor worthy. Well, sometimes my car suffers from that too, where I would not want to giveone a lift in case the would think my car was messy etc. and I had to give the excuse, "I haven't been home to empty the car out yet", when in actual fact it had looked like that for a while.
Have you ever been looking for a pair of shoes in your closet at home and then found them behind the car driver's seat where you took them off because it more comfortable to drive shoeless, and then left them there? Hands up! I have!
Today's cleanse is a reminder to not leave anything in your car that would be a worry if it was stolen. Valuable items do not belong in a car. Put them in a secure and safe place.
Cleanse the compartments in your car. Remove all rubbish, and restock anything you use frequently. This can include candy, spare change, torch etc
Check out your first aid kit in the car. If you don't have one, get one. It is better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. Last week I needed a bandaid from the car kit and it was so old the adhesive did not stick. Yes, first aid supplies do have a use by date. Check and refresh your kit.
Your car keeps you safe, connects you to places and people you want to visit. Make it a glorious place to be in.
Go for a special drive in that fabulous vehicle after the cleanse today. You are looking and feeling awesome!
Please feel free to comment about your cleanse that you experience, and enjoy the rest of the decluttering series.
Happy Travels!
